Chris Brook

Chris took up Pilates on the recommendation of her physiotherapist, to counter some back problems. The exercises proved extremely useful, so after giving up her career as an IT professional, she qualified as a Pilates instructor, with the internationally renowned Body Control Pilates Association, which was co-founded by Lynne Robinson.

A year later, Chris decided to complement her Pilates teaching with Sports Massage, and subsequently qualified as a Sport and Remedial Massage Practitioner, via the Institute of Sport & Remedial Massage.

Chris lives with her family (husband Rob, collie dog Dillon, and 4 chickens!) in the South Oxfordshire village of Kidmore End. She practices Sports Massage out of a specially converted room in the family home, and teaches Pilates in a number of halls close to Sonning Common.
